1 Corinthians 6: 9-11
“Washed, Sanctified, Justified: A New Life in Christ”

Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.
Devotional Thought:
In this passage, Paul reminds us that sinful living separates people from God and His kingdom. However, through Jesus Christ, those who turn away from sin are washed, made holy, and declared righteous. This passage shows God’s great mercy—no matter our past, we can be transformed by His grace and the power of the Holy Spirit.
Prayer Focus:
Let us pray, Heavenly Father, thank You for Your mercy and grace that cleanse us from sin and make us new in Christ. Help us to turn away from anything that separates us from You and to walk in the righteousness You have given us. May we live each day as a testimony of Your love and transformation in our lives.
